Jesus G. Salazar received his Law Degree from John Marshall Law School in 1992 and his Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University in 1986.  

He has been practicing law in Chicago, Illinois for 29 years. He began as an associate in 1992. In 2006, he opened the Law Offices of Jesus G. Salazar, P.C. As a solo practitioner, he has developed a diversified practice including criminal defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, contract actions, workers’ compensation, real estate and bankruptcy. He has extensive experience as a criminal defense attorney and as a civil litigator. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants throughout Cook County and the adjacent counties. He has litigated numerous bench trials, including major felonies and misdemeanors. He has also represented clients in federal court, arbitration proceedings, and before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
